Redmi 6 series phones with Dual VoLTE launched in India starting Rs 5,999

Xiaomi India has been teasing the launch of its Redmi 6 series smartphones which includes Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro in its social accounts. Today, the phones were launched in India at starting price Rs 5,999.

These phones were launched in Chine on June and now it is coming to India to replace the Redmi 5 ones. In a new teaser earlier, the company confirmed the Redmi 6 phones will have DualVoLTEsupport with HD quality.

Redmi 6 Phones Specifications

Redmi 6 has 5.45HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display,MediaTekHelioP22 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage,3000mah battery, 12MP + 5MP Dual Camera setup and 5MP Selfie camera. Finger print sensor is present at the rear and Face unlock feature is present. The phone comes in Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold color options.

Redmi 6 Redmi 6A is more budget oriented with 5.45 HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, Octa-coreMediaTekHelioA22 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 5MP Selfie camera with Face Unlock, 3000mAh battery and 13MP rear camera. The phone has dedicated MicroSD slot.

Redmi 6

Finally, the Redmi 6 Pro is the top end model in this series. The phone comes with premium design and built with notch design. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and has 5.84 FHD+ display, 4GB RAM ,64GB internal storage, 12MP + 5MP Dual Rear Camera setup and 5MP Selfie Camera. The phone packs in huge 4000mAh battery and gives two days backup.

Like the previous two models, this one also comes with dedicated microSD slot. Redmi 6 Pro comes with red, black, blue and gold color options.

All the three phones will receive MIUI 10 update. The price of the Redmi 6A is Rs 5,999 for 16GB/ Rs 6,999 for 32GB , Redmi 6 is Rs 7,999 for 32GB/ Rs 9,499 for 64GB and Redmi 6 Pro is Rs 10,99 for 3GB variant and Rs 12,999 for 4GB respectively.
Redmi 6 phone will be available via Mi website and Flipkart from September 10, 12PM. Redmi 6A phone will be available via Mi website and Amazon from September 19, 12PM. Redmi 6 Pro phone will be available via Mi website and Amazon from September 11, 12PM.
