On the heels of the Oneplus 8 series launch which happened yesterday, the Honor 30 series smartphones are launched. Honor as we know if the sub-band of Huawei an has been making many popular devices in the mid-range and cost effective flagship spec’d devices. The Honor 30 series is the 2020 flagship range devices from the company.
The company has launched a total of three devices in the series – Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+. The highlight of the devices are the new Kirin processors, advanced Periscope lens and Dual Selfie Camera. Let’s check out the detailed specifications.

Honro 30 series comes with similar design with 3D curved at the back and glass finish. They have a huge Honor logo at the back. The front of the device is a Full View display with punch hole display for the camera setup. The rear of the phone has the Quad or Triple camera setup arranged in rectangular pattern. Honor 30 comes 6.53-inch OLED display with 1080p FHD+ resolution with 60Hz refresh panel whereas Honor 30 Pro series has 6.57-inch curved OLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate. All the devices have in-display finer print sensor.
The Honor 30 Pro+ camera setup consist of 50MP RYYB IMX700 sensor – large 1/1.28-inch sensor and 2.44um pixels , Periscope Telephoto Lens with 50x digital zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 5x optical zoom + Dual OIS and finally 16MP Ultra wide-angle lens with 17mm focal length and support for 2.5cm macro shots. The setup is similar for Honor 30 Pro except for the main sensor is 40MP instead of 50MP.
The Honor 30 camera setup is made of 40MP RYYB IMX600 sensor, 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens, Periscope Telephoto lens with 50x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom and 2MP Macro Lens. Honor 30 has a single 32MP selfie camera, whereas Honor 30 Pro series comes with 32MP + 8MP Dual Selfie camera.
Honor 30 Pro series is powered by the all new Kirin 990 processor whereas the Honor 30 has Kirin 985 processor. Both the devices sport up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Honor 30 phones have dual-mode 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC connectivity options. The battery capacity of all the models is 4000mAh battery with 40W fast wired charging and 27W Wi-Fi fast charging.

Honor 30 and 30 Pro comes in four colors – Neon Purple, Black, Green, and Silver. Honor 30 Pro+ has just three colors, Black, Silver, and Green. All the three models are up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale for the first time on April 21 at 10:00 AM.
