Samsung India in a tweet confirmed the launch of Samsung J8 series phone in India on June 28. The J-series phones are the company’s budget and midrange smartphones with decent specifications. One would assume, Samsung targets its core fans to buy the device since the phones in the series always are less powerful for the price. The Samsung J8 is priced at Rs 18,990 and comes with Infinity Touch feature to customize the photos you take.

- Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC
- 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage
- 16 MP and a 5 MP sensor Dual Rear camera and 16MP Selfie Camera

The smartphone comes with all default connectivity options. The dual rear camera setup will be able to reshape the camera background blur with hearts, butterflies, suns, star patterns. The Samsung J8 looks to have decent specifications but it’s hard to overlook the higher price for the rather meek HD display and old Snapdragon 450 processor. However, if you are Samsung fan boy you may not mind it. The smartphone will come with cashback offers from ICICI Bank credit and debit cards or Paytm.
