The Firsts for VivoXPlay7 doesn’t end here, this device is also rumored to be the first smartphone to use Sony’s new IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor with an effective resolution of 48 megapixels. As per Sony this new sensor has four times greater dynamic range than its previous smartphone sensors. The sensor also adopts a Quad Bayer color filter array for high sensitivity as well as high resolution.
The phone could also come with top-end specs like 512GB internal storage, advanced In-display fingerprint sensor and improved Face Unlock feature using TOF 3D sensing technology which is claimed to perform 10X times better thanFaceIDoniPhoneX.
Finally, the leak suggest that the device could be launched on Decemeber’18 and go on sale in January before the Chinese New year. We could also expect the phone to be launched in India based on the recent trends of smartphone launches in the country.
