Vivo V17, the new mid-range phone from the company is launched in India. This phone is step-down version of the already launched Vivo V17 Pro which was launched in the country few weeks back. Vivo V17 comes with a huge 6.44-inch AMOLED display and with high screen-to-body ratio to give it a premium look. The punch-hole display to house the selfie camera setup gives you an immersive experience while using the phone without much blocking. The reason being, it is touted to be the world’s tiniest punch-hole cutout” by the company. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor which is good but at this price range many would have expected Snapdragon 730 SoC.
The camera setup is done in L shape cut which has the (48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor + 8MP (f/2.2) secondary shooter + 2MP (f/2.4) bokeh lens + 2MP (f/2.4) macro unit setup. Apart from this, there is presence of LED flash.The camera has modes such as Ultra Stable video, portrait mode, various AI modes, and Super Night mod. The 4500mAh battery has 18W fast charging . All default connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Hotspot, and WiFi Direct are present.
The price of the Vivo V17 is set at Rs 22,990 for the only variant launched. It comes in Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice color options. The device goes on sale from December 17 and be available across online/offline shores. Finally, you get Vivo XE710 headphones worth INR 1,999 free in the box.
