So with all the rumors, leaks and reports from the past two months through almost the complete details of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ were revealed. In MWC 2018 event, Samsung officially launched its flagship smartphone for the year 2018. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are more an incremental update from the last years’ Galaxy S8 with the design and built is almost the same.

One of the major change from the last year is the placement of fingerprint scanner. Last year the scanner was placed beside the rear camera which made it present towards one side of the phone.This year, the company seems to have come to sense and placed the fingerprint sensor in a more convenient place of the phone.

So with no further delay, lets check out the complete specification of both the models

  • 12-megapixel rear camera sensor with OIS and dual-pixel AF & 8-megapixel selfie camera with an integrated iris scanner
  • 3000mAH battery

  • 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, HDR 10 compliant
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor/Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC based on region
  • 12MP + 12MP Dual Camera setup with Telephoto lens with OIS and dual-pixel AF
  • 8-megapixel selfie camera with an integrated iris scanner
  • 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage
  • 3500mAH battery

The main difference between the two models is on the camera setup used and battery capacity.Apart from this new features for this year’s flagship include AR Emojis, better KNOX, Intelligent Scan unlock, Bixby real-tile translation, stereo speakers and few other features. Apart from this Camera is the main focus of this upgrade from Samsung and they have done a great job by adding Slow-mo recording feature.

The device is supposed to be priced higher at range of Galaxy Note 8, so for now with these launch details and specifications we recommend to buy or upgrade only of you want the latest features . If you already own, Samsung Galaxy S8 series or Note 8 series its advisable to skip this.
