As we had twitter earlier, Samsung will be launching its 2018 Galaxy A8+ smartphone in India on January 10th ,2018. It looks like the device is going to be an amazon exclusive with e-commerce giant displaying a coming soon page in their website.

Announced last month, Samsung’s 2018 Galaxy A Series phones are the first to feature a Dual Selfie Camera setup. The Galaxy A8+ (2018) has a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 18.5:9 ratio-based Infinity display with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage options. Under the hood, both the handsets have an octa-core chip with two cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.6GHz with 3500mAH battery. Also the smartphone is IP68-certified build and come preloaded with Samsung Pay integration. Further, the smartphone support Samsung Gear VR headset.
The dual front camera setup includes a 16-megapixel fixed focus, f/1.9 image sensor and an 8-megapixel f/1.9 sensor. This setup enables to provide blurred background in images with a bokeh effect. Users can also switch the preloaded camera app to have a clear and crisp background as well as a focused foreground. On top of this, the device has a Live Focus feature to adjust the bokeh effect while capturing self-portraits. Additionally, the smartphones have a 16-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/1.7 lens. Other connectivity includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The price of the device is expected to around Rs 32,000 to Rs 35,000 based on the RAM and internal storage configuration. Check out the Amazon page here.
