Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones was launched today in India. They have launched blockbuster of a device in terms of design, specifications and pricing. The launch has been creating quite a hype for the last few days with the phone sporting 64MP camera with Samsung ISOCELL GM2 64-megapixel Ultra Clear sensor as the primary sensor.

The design language and build as mostly followed the Note 7 series with minor changes in the form of new water drop notch instead of u-notch. The front and back of the phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display is TUV Rheinland certified so harmful blue rays are kept out.
The main highlight of the phone is the presence of 64MP Quad Camera setup. Apart from the main sensor, it consists of 8MP ultra wide lens, 2MP macro and 2 MP depth lens in the setup. The Redmi Note 8 has same setup expect that its primary lens is 48MP. To take advantage of this, the phone comes with numerous camera modes and features powered by AI.
Redmi Note 8 series phones comes with all default connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, IR Blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the phone has Face Unlock feature & fingerprint sensor at the back.
