Redmi Go smartphone launched in India by Xiaomi along with services like MiPay today. At a launch event, Xiaomi India launched its low cost entry level Redmi Go phone running the Android Oreo (Go edition). Go Edition phones are stripped down android version from Google to make the working of phone faster and smoother even with low-end specifications. Specifications of Redmi Go phone below.

Redmi Go phone comes with many local features for India especially on languages front. The phone feature 20+ regional languages support with Google Assistant available in Hindi language. As with any Go Edition phone, the app sizes are very small making the phone operation smoother with less RAM consumption. The price of the phone is set at an aggressiveRs4,499 and will be on sale from 22^ndMarch. The device will come in Black and Blue color options.
