It looks like Smart TVs are the new popular gadgets, the companies in India are targeting after smartphones. Oneplus India has officially announced that it is going to launch a new Oneplus Smart TV which will be more affordable compared to its offering last year which was priced above Rs 50,000. Realme launched its new Smart TV last month and Nokia branded 32-inch Smart TV was announced for the country last week and now we have Oneplus jumping the affordable Smart TV bandwagon. Oneplus Smart TV Details
Pete Lau, OnePlus founder and CEO of Oneplus recently announced in Twitter that the company is planning to launch a premium Oneplus TV at an affordable price. This comes with little surprise since like the smartphone industry two years ago when high-end specs and features become available in less priced smartphones due to competition, it looks like same thing is happening for Smart TV market. Television with Full HD resolution, Smart features, good specifications , design and built quality are now being available at lesser price. This could be one of the reason for this announcement. Oneplus TV doesn’t want to do the catch-up game.
The announced doesn’t reveal much about his new smart TV expect the top view of the TV. However, as per the recent model found in BIS certification website, this television could be 55-inch LED TV with Bluetooth 5.0. We may expect the device to be powered by a MediaTek MT5607 processor and up to 2GB RAM.
