Huawei has launched a new tablet device named Huawei MatePad 10.4 along with the Nova 7 series phone launch. This device is a mid-range tablet, positioned below the Huawei MatePad Pro, which is part of Huawei’s flagship series of tablets. The Huawei MatePad device has a decent built and slim-bezel design. The rear of the device has the single 8MP camera along with LED flash and there is also 8MP at front without autofocus. The tablet has a huge 10.4-inch FHD+ display IPS panel which is bright and smooth. You get a Stylus support for productivity activities.
The gadget packs in massive 7250mAh battery in a relatively thin body and also supports 18W fast charging. The MatePad weighs nearly 450 grams and measures 245.2mm x 154.96mm x 7.35mm across. All default connectivity options are present in the device including the USB-C port.
The price of the device is fixed at CNY 1,899 ( Rs 19,500) for 4GB/64GB, CNY 2,199 ( Rs 22,500) for 6GB/64GB and CNY 2,499 ( Rs 25,500) 6GB/128GB variants respectively. We don’t think this device will be launched outside China, at least for now.
