Vivo has launched its latest premium range smartphones in the Vivo X-series; Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro & Vivo X50 Pro Plus devices. The highlight on the X-series are on the high-end camera setup and powerful processors. The Vivo X50 Pro being the big brother has giant 50MP Quad Camera setup with gimbal-like stabilization at one end and the Vivo X50 is claimed to the slimmest 5G smartphone currently available. The new Vivo X50 comes with premium built quality and sleek design as you expect fromo a flagship device. The Vivo X50 being the cheapest has slim built at just 7.4mm thickness making it the slimmest 5G phone. The front of the device has punch-hole display and the rear of the device has the triple camera setup arranged in vertical manner. All the three phones have same 6.56-inch Full HD resolution Super AMOLED display.
The main difference between the Vivo X50 Pro & Vivo X50 Pro Plus is on the camera setup and processor. The design of these two phones have cureved edge display compared to standard X50. The Vivo X50 & X50 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 755G processor and support up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The high-end Vivo X50 Pro Plus is run on Snapdragon 865 processor and support up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The Quad camera setup of Vivo X50 Pro plus consist of Samsung’s 50MP ISOCELL GN1 1/1.3″ sensor, 8MP periscope lens capable of 60x Zoom capabilities, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with macro shooting ability, and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. The 50MP sensor uses a combination of motion deblur algorithm and continuous focus tracking to deliver what the company says is gimbal-like stabilization.
Vivo X50 Pro has the same camera setup expect the main Samsung 50MP is replaced by Sony IMX598 48MP sensor. The standard Vivo X50 has triple camera setup which includes 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom capabilities. All of them have 32MP Selfie camera.
All default connectivity options are present in the device. The battery supports fast charging up to 44W for high-end Vivo X50 Pro plus model and 333W for other two variants. The Vivo X50 goes on sale from June 6 whereas the other tow models in a latter date. The Vivo X50 series phones are confirmed to launch in India but we are not sure whether all the 3 variants will debut in India.
