Samsung India has been on launching spree especially on the Smart TV segment. Not only Samsung, in the past 3 weeks various brands have launched new Smart TVs with great specs and design at different price levels. The brands are trying to make the most of the COVID situation where people are confined to home and for any entertainment, they have to rely on the big idiot box , the television.
During mid-of June, Samsung had launched new 4K LED Smart TV. Now, they have launched designer and portable premium OLED smart television named the The Serif TV. The highlight of this new TV is the metal stand that detaches easily and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) feature it offers. Let’s check out the complete details.

Samsung The Serif TV Details
The Serif OLED Smart TV comes with portable design , brilliantly crisp QLED picture. The design and portability factors of the device are its highlight. The TV is designed by the famous french designer Bouroullec. The Smart TV can not only placed near a wall but can be centered in a room or on a shelf, this TV wasn’t just designed to move — it was created to push boundaries.
The TV has unibody structure in the shape of the letter “I”, is like a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture that doubles as a shelf for an added experience. To enhance the TV’s placement, the Ambient Mode+ mimics the wall behind and displays weather, headlines and more. The elegant metal stand you get along with the television can be detached easily—so you can move it around wherever and whenever you like.
The Samsung Serif TV comes in three sizes – 43-inch, 49-inch, and 55-inch. Apart from the regular set of USB,HDMI ,AV ports , the TV has variety of Wi-Fi enabled tools to take advantage of the wireless functionality. You can just tap your smartphone to mirror the device on to TV or use NFC tap function to stream music from your phone to TV. You can also effortlessly play videos and music, or share photos from your iPhone, iPad and Mac with Airplay 2 compatibility.
Finally, you get in-built smart assistant support for Google assistant, Siri and also Amazon Alexa devices. Multi-view feature enables you to view TV and you phone screen on the smart Tv at the same time. Price of the 43-inch TV will come at a price of Rs 83,900, while the 49-inch and 55-inch models are priced at Rs 1,16,900 and 1,48,900.
It will be available from Amazon, Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop and select Samsung Smart Plazas. The Serif will be available at a special price for the first 10 days, from 8 to 17 July, on Amazon.
