Meizu Zero is the First Hole-less phone in the world

Meizutoday announced the its latest innovation in smartphone, theMeizuZero.MeizuZero is claimed to be the first smartphone in the world without any holei.eany open port/jack. This basically means the wont have any charging port or 3.5mm jack or physical sim slot.

Absence of these literally make the phone fully closed at all sides and make it a new experience for people using it. Let’s check in detail on the specifications of the phone and how this innovation was achieved.

· 5.99-inch sized flexible OLED display with Optical In-Display Fingerprint sensor

· Qualcomm Snapdragon 845Octa-core processor

· 12MP +20MP Dual Rear Camera and 20MP front camera for Selfie

· Android Oreo withFlyme7UI

The details on the amount of RAM, Storage and battery size is not clear. However, being a no holes phone the device comes with 18W wireless charging capability. For data transfers, the latest Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy technology will be used. One can also use the Wi-Fi direct feature for transfers as well.

Meizu Zero

The microphone is replaced by a uniquemSound2.0 screen sound technology which produces sound via the display. The volume/power physical buttons are replaced with virtual pressure-sensitive buttons and themEngine2.0 engine ensures that users get the same feel as a traditional physical button when used. Meizu Zero comes with IP68 rating where the phone can be under water for more than 2 hours without any damage.

Finally, the phone only supporteSIMfeature thereby no need for physical sim card. The price and availability details of the phone is yet to announced. Being a first of its kind, we can only see the real world experience once the device is available for masses and whether it will get a positive response. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
