Honor launched its latest flagship smartphone, Honor V30 series today. The smartphones come with impressive specs and they are the first ones to arrive with 5G connectivity. The company also adopted a new camera setup at the rear similar to the one present in Samsung Galaxy M30s, which were launched last month. Let’s check out the specifications.

Honor V30 & V30 pro have similar design and size. The front display houses the elliptical notch housing the dual-selfie camera, which is 32MP + 8MP setup. This can capture 105-degree wider selfie shots and has Super night scene mode. The huge 6.57-inch FHD+ display dominates the front of the phone due to this. It gives an incredible viewing experience for multimedia and gaming.
The rear of the phone has the Triple camera setup, which the company calls the Matrix Camera technology for systemic imaging technology framework through software and hardware collaboration. It consist of 40MP Sony IMX600 RYYB sensor, 12MP cine lens and 8MP telephoto lens for V30 Pro variant. This setup has 5-axis OIS, EIS, 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, 4K video shooting at 30fps and 720p video shooting at 960fps.
The V30 one has 40MP Sony sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and 8MP wide lens. You get Laser autofocus, LED flash, 4-axis OIS, EIS 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, 4K video shooting at 30fps and 720p video shooting at 960fps with V30.
The smartphone is powered by the new Kirin 990 5G chipset, which has Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G connectivity. You get ample power and performance to see through any type of tasks. Another difference between Pro and standard variant is that you get 27W superfast wireless charging in Pro but not in standard one.
All default connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C are present. The new smartphone comes in Charm Starfish Blue, Dawn Orange, Magic Night Star River and Icelandic Fantasy color options. The price of Honor V30 5G starts at 3,299 Yuan ( Rs 33,100) for 6GB/128GB and 3,699 Yuan ( Rs 37,100 ) for 8GB/256GB one. Likewise, V30 Pro starts at 3,899 Yuan ( Rs 39,100) for 8GB/128 & 4,199 Yuan ( Rs 42,100) for 8GB/256GB variant.
Honor V30 Series goes on sale from December 5 in China. Currently, there is no update whether the phone will come to India mainly due to 5Gb factor which is still few years away for the country.
