2018 iPad Pro tablet launched with Slimmer design, Face ID and USB-C port

Apple today at a launch event in New York, unveiled the latest iPad Pro premium tablets in two screen sizes; 11-inch and 12.9-inch. The major changes on the new iPad device include sleeker design, thin bezels, presence of USB-C port and Face ID. The design somewhat reminds us of the Apple iPhone 4S which came with a box-cut design. However, one thing which was removed compared to previous variants is the headphone jack. Also, we get a refreshed Apple Pencil which can be wirelessly charged by magnetically attached to the iPad.

This is the first iPad device to get the powerful A12X Bionic chip which has dedicated neural engine. The engine will help in implementation of machine learning to help you access UI elements and apps in an enhanced manner. The rear camera is improved with True Tone LED flash and support for 4K video recording at 60fps on the new iPad Pro.

2018 iPad Pro

The 11-inch iPad Pro is priced starting starts atRs. 71,900 (64GB) , while the bigger model will retail starting atRs. 89,900 (64GB) in India. As always this is higher compared to the starting price of $799 (~Rs58,800 ) in the U.S market. Both these devices will go on sale from November 7 in U.S, however the India launch date is still not known.

Like earlier, we also got new iPad pro accessories for the new device with Smart Foliofoliocase priced atRs. 7,500 andRs. 9,900 for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes respectively. The new folio keyboard which connects to iPad via smart connector is priced atRs. 15,900 andRs. 17,900 for two models.
