Oneplus in a online event today launched its affordable Smart TV series -OnePlus Y Series TV and OnePlus U Series. The OnePlus TV 55U1 is the bigger 55-inch 4K Smart TV with Oneplus cinematic display powered by Oxygen OS. The Oneplus Y series TV come in 32-inch and 43-inch display sizes and are entry level low priced smart television. Let’s check out the details.

OnePlus TV U1 Series
Oneplus TV 55U1 is the only model in the U-series for now with 55-inch 4K supporting support for 93 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR 10, HDR 10 , HLG and Dolby Vision. The oneplus cinematic display present in the device gives you perfect color and picture clarity. The 55U1 Tv has 4 Speakers in them and produce 30W output sound.
The design of the new television is modern and sleek. It has 95 per cent screen to body ratio and is 6.9mm thin. The TV runs on Oxygen Play UI on top of Google’s Android TV software. It comes with various features like Kids Mode, Data Saver+ and more. The remote for the TV is also redesigned to be more ergonomic and for easy usage.
The price of the Oneplus TV 55U1 model is set at Rs 49,999 and will go on sale from July 5 via Amazon. Very soon, it will be available for offline sale as well.
OnePlus TV Y Series
In the Y series of Oneplus TV, there are two variants – 32-inch and 43-inch display size. The 32-inch TV comes with HD ( 1366×768 pixels ) resolution where as the 43-inch TV has Full HD ( 1920×1080) pixels resolution. The design language for these TVs are similar to U-Series TV with slim built and high screen-to-body ratio.
Both the television has 10W speakers built-in with support for Dolby Atmos. It runs on Google’s Android TV operating system and has all features present in the U-series television as well.
The price of the 43-inch variant is fixed at Rs 22,999 and the 32-inch Y-series Oneplus TV is set at aggressive price of Rs 12,999. Both the models will go on sale from July 5 as well via Amazon.
