Asus last month unveiled the Asus ROG phone, a highly exciting gaming optimized Android Smartphone with jaw dropping design and impressive specifications. Ever since then we were wondering whether India would get this phone at all and if so when will it. During the Asus Zenfone 5Z launch which happened yesterday, Asus CEO Jerry Shen has confirmed that the gaming phone will be launched this quarter i.e. in the next three months.

- Ability to play back HDR content with the presence of discrete image processing chip
- Presence of Gaming Cooling system to improve thermals using a copper heat spreader and 3D vapour chamber to transfer heat away from the processor.

Coming to the expected price of the phone, the CEO has hinted that it won’t be cheap. So we can assume the phone to cost anywhere between 50,000 to 60,000 as Zenfone 5Z is in the 30K range.
