Gionee A1 launched in India with 16MP Front Camera
Last month in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) the Gionee A1 smartphone, a selfie focused phone was showcased by the company.Now this model has been launched in India and pre-orders will begin on March 31.
Actually, at the conference two models, A1 and A1 Plus smartphones were launched, but India is getting only the A1 model for now.
Gionee’s new A-Series lineup is known for focusing on selfie images and battery life. So along with the 16MP front camera, the mobile has a generous 4010mAh battery added and this has the new ‘ultra fast-charging’ which charges the batteries completely in two hours.
Specifications of the mobile include:
- MediaTek MT6755 processor
- 5.5-inch full-HD in-cell (1080×1920 pixels) display
- A 16-megapixel front-camera & 13-megapixel rear camera
- Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s Amigo 4.0 OS on top
- 4010mAH battery with Fast charging capability
The smartphone’s front camera has Gionee’s customized selfie flash, with the company promising ‘enhanced facial complexions’. It also comes with beauty settings, which can be customized according to the user’s needs.Finally the front camera has fixed-focus with f/2.0 aperture and flash, while the 13MP rear camera comes with auto-focus with f/2.0 aperture and flash.
The sale will mostly be online only in either Flipkart or Amazon.
