Xiaomi India launched its latest budget Redmi series phone today, the Redmi 8A. The Redmi 8A succeeds the Redmi 7A which was launched few months back. This series phone comes with bigger battery, decent processor and all features one needs today. The highlight of the phone is support for 18W fast charging, bigger 5000mAh battery and trendy design. Redmi 8A has a huge HD+ display, which is dominated at the front along with notch for housing the 8MP selfie camera. The rear of the device has the 12MP camera and LED flash. The display is protected by Gorilla glass 5. On top of this, you also get dedicated microSD card for expanding memory.

All default connectivity options including Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM Radio are present. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red. The price of the smartphone is fixed at Rs 6,499 ( 2GB/32GB) and Rs 6,999 (3GB/32GB) variants. It goes on sale from 29th September via Flipkart and Mi Online.
