Huawei Y9 Prime with Kirin 710, Pop-up Camera, 4000mAh battery launched in India at Rs 15,990

Huawei launched its latest mid-range phone, the Huawei Y9 prime in India today. The device now has a dedicated teaser page in Amazon India where the details of the phone has been shown. The major highlight of the new smartphone from Huawei include Triple Camera, Pop-up Selfie and notch-less full view display.

Huawei Y9 Prime Details

Huawei has been actively launching numerous devices at different price range in 2019. The latest Huawei Y9 Prime looks to be a strong mid-range contender at 15K price range.

With presence of Kirin 710 processor, 16MP+8MP+2MP Triple Camera setup and more importantly the notch-less display is a huge attraction for the users.

It should also be noted that, the build quality and design of Huawei is kind of better compared to its Honor phones. The device has GPU Turbo 3.0 so playing high end games including PUBG should not be a problem.

Apart from this, the phone has massive 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. The phone got a huge 6.59-inch FHD+ display and you can expect it to provide a very good immersive experience without any notch. The Selfie is a 16MP AI powered camera with the ability to take 3D portrait mode as well.

Huawei Y9 Prime will come in only 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. It will run Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 on top. The smartphone comes in Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue. The price of device is set at Rs 15,999 and will take on Vivo Z1 pro, Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 phones.

At this price, it is the cheapest phone with pop-up camera and goes on sale from August 7 on Amazon. The offline sales starts around the same time.
