Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain had earlier teased the launch of Xiaomi Laptop for India in cryptic tweet. However, this looks to be true and will happen very soon. As per info from popular tipster Ishan Agarwal , Xiaomi India will be launching new Mi Laptop for India which could be just the re-branded version Redmi Notebook 13 launched last year in China. The timing of the launch makes sense with new scenario whether majority of them are restricted to work from home. Let’s check out more details.

Xiaomi Mi Laptop Details
Xiaomi Mi Laptop will be 13-inch variant as per the info and will come in various configuration including 10th i7 and i5 processor. The device will have sufficient amount of RAM and fast SSD to make your work easier. Usually, Xiaomi products are popular for their low pricing but as per the report it looks like this strategy will not be applicable for Laptop. We could see that the device will be priced on par with existing brands with a minor change in pricing.
To recall, the Redmi Notebook 13 specifications include 10th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 laptop options and get 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage as standard. There’s also a 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card. The device was priced 4,199 CNY (about Rs 44,000) for the Intel Core i5 processor; the lone Core i7 version is priced at 5,199 CNY ( Rs 54,000) . We believe the pricing in India will be increase around 3-4K for various duties and tax.
