Xiaomi today launched its budget smartphone Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A with Full view ( 18:9 aspect ratio) display. These are successors to the highly popular Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A smartphones. Additionally Xiaomi has introduced the Face Unlock feature for the first time in this ultra-low budget segment. Redmi 6 is priced at CNY 599 ( Rs 6000) and Redmi 6A is priced at CNY 799 ( Rs 8000) for 3GB/32GB and CNY 999 for 4GB/64GB variant. Let’s check out the specification of the phones.

All default connectivity options are present in both the smartphones. The devices will go on sale from June 15. The launch date for India is however not known yet.
