Samsung launches 2018 Smart QLED TV with S-Voice and Ambient Display in India

Samsung India today launched 2018 QLED TVs which comes with Ambient display mode and S-voice built into it. The highlight of the TV is a feature which allows the televisions to blend into a room, even when they are switched off. To explain, you can take a photo of the wall behind the television via Samsung’s SmartThings application first and then TV creates a matching look on the screen which provides a canvas frame mimic. This is what Samsung calls the Ambient mode. Additional to the smart features, this is the first TV from Samsung which has the slim, near invisible glass fiber ‘invisible connector’ capable of transmitting both power and data.

Samsung’s 2018 QLED TVs support the company’s S-Voice (and not Bixby) for voice control as also its Smart Things app that can connect them to other IoT enabled devices. This OLED TV pricing starts at a whopping Rs 2,45,000 and you get some launch offers like free Galaxy S9 smartphone.

Apart from this, Samsung also launched its mid-range UHD and the Make for India Concert series in India. The UHD line-up will consist of 16 models (including The Frame), and start at Rs 64,900. The Concert series, will meanwhile, come in two versions: Smart concert and Joy concert. The Smart concert and Joy concert will be available in 32, 43 and 49-inch sizes, and will start at Rs 27,500. These TVs are made specifically for India region which offers unmatched sound quality and provides a great experience.
