Latest Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 leak reveal 120Hz display, punch-hole camera

Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is already in the work by the company. The original Galaxy Fold met with some issues after its initial launch so the company modified the design a bit and launched it again. The reception for the device was only average as not many people were getting used to the new Fold type display smartphones. However, the Flip type folding phone like the Galaxy Flip or Moto Razr Flip on the other hand are popular. Now, a new leak from a tipster BenGeskin shows the alleged render images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 device. Let’s check out the details.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Details

Apart from the leaked images, the specifications of the device has surfaced courtesy Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants. The image reveal a major change in the design from the first generation device. You are going to get a bigger display the front in folded state with punch-hole display housing the selfie camera. Even in the inside, the device will get a larger display with thin bezels. The camera setup looks like a single camera in a punch-hole cut out. Finally, the image shows that the Fold 2 will come with S-Pen just like the Galaxy Note series.

As per the source, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is termed as Project Champ. The main display of the phone will be flexible Dynamic AMOLED panel measuring 7.59 inches with 2213 x 1689 pixels resolution, 372 ppi density and 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display will be 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED LTPS panel with 60Hz refresh rate. As per reports, the device will get both 4G and 5G variants.

The fold able device will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor and up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. No details are available on the camera setup and on the battery capacity. But we expect the device to have mammoth battery and fast wireless charging. Finally, the price of the device could be more aggressive since the phone is now on second generation and also more fold able phones are expected in the coming months.
