Yes! You heard it right. As per the report from Economic times, Reliance Jio may launch the cheapest 4G VOLTE phone on July 21 with the availability from August 15, coinciding with Country’s Independence Day. It should be noted earlier rumors, had hinted Jio of introducing phones at Rs 999, but Rs 500 looks more desirable.
With the growth of Jio subscriber count steady decreasing over the months, mainly due to saturation and lack of affordable 4G VOLTE phones. So this move of introducing a cheap 4G VOLTE will give Jio the much-needed boost in subscribers and increase its user base.

This move also reminds us the scenario when Ambani launched affordable mobile phones at 1000 along with add-on entertainment services which got the nation into tizzy that time.We just hope the phone will resemble decent quality thought it comes at a very cheap price point.
