Redmi Pro 2 powering Snapdragon 855 leaked with Triple Camera setup

Redmi recently announced that it will become a separate sub brand from Xiaomi Mi just like how Realme and the recently leaked Reno smartphone from Oppo. It was also confirmed that the so far Redmi brand which concentrated on value for money budget phones will take a leap of faith and test it waters in flagship territory. Now, images of its first device under this strategy Redmi Pro 2 powering Snapdragon 855 is revealed via Webio.

Redmi Pro 2 Details

As highlighted in the leaked image, the phone will be powered by the 2019 flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Apart from this, we can see that the new Redmi phone will comes with pop-up selfie camera just like the recently launched Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro. The rear of the phone house the Triple camera setup arranged in vertical manner which includes a 48MP sensor as well. Since there is no fingerprint sensor at the rear or front, we can assume that the device will comes with in-display fingerprint sensor. If it true, it will be the first Redmi phone to have so.

Apart from this, there are no details on other specifications or date of launch. One can expect the device to debut in market during the second half of the year. So we are also curious as to how the price of the phone will be since it is a Redmi phone and couldn’t stop wondering whether it will go against the Pocofone F2 phone when launched.
