As seen within the TENAA pictures for the system, the Redmi Note 9 follows the design pattern of its bigger siblings in Note 9 series. The device has side-mounted finger print sensor and 48MP Quad Camera setup in square pattern at the back along with LED flash. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the device, whereas the SIM tray is on the left side.

The front of the phone has the punch-hole for selfie camera and full view 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ display. The device measures 162.3×77.2×8.9 and weigh in at 198 grams.
