Just a couple of days before, we reported on a new variant of Redmi K30 getting ready for launch named Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition. Today, the device was formally announced and it goes on sale from 14th May. It is termed as the world’s first smartphone with the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G chipset which is an overclocked version of Snapdragon 765 processor. More details below.

The design and built of the phone follows the standard Redmi K30 series model with pill-shaped notch on the display at the front and Quad camera setup vertically in the middle surrounded by circular pattern. The display of the device supports 120Hz refresh rate just like its other variants.The device is powered by Snapdragon 786G which is currently the most powerful mid-range processor and built on a 7nm EUV process. This is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The camera setup consist of 64 megapixel shooter alongside wide angle lens, super macro camera, and a depth of field camera while the front has a 20 megapixel sensor alongside another depth of field camera for selfies. All default connectivity options including dual band 5G, NFC, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an infrared remote control, Type-C port are present. You get 4500mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
