Redmi Go with Snapdragon 425, 3000mAh battery launched at Rs 4,499

Redmi Go smartphone launched in India by Xiaomi along with services like MiPay today. At a launch event, Xiaomi India launched its low cost entry level Redmi Go phone running the Android Oreo (Go edition). Go Edition phones are stripped down android version from Google to make the working of phone faster and smoother even with low-end specifications. Specifications of Redmi Go phone below.

Redmi Go phone comes with many local features for India especially on languages front. The phone feature 20+ regional languages support with Google Assistant available in Hindi language. As with any Go Edition phone, the app sizes are very small making the phone operation smoother with less RAM consumption. The price of the phone is set at an aggressive Rs 4,499 and will be on sale from 22nd March. The device will come in Black and Blue color options.

Apart from this, Xiaomi also announced a new payment service MiPay in India. MiPay is a one-stop solution to all your payment needs. With this, you can seamlessly split bills, transfer funds and also request money all in tap of the button. This service is deeply integrated in MIUI as well making your transactions easier with your contacts.
