Realme Smart TV launched at Aggressive Starting Price Rs 12,999 in India

Realme India in a event today launched many products which included Realme Smart TV, Realme Buds Air Neo and Realme Watch. However, the highlight of the event is the Realme Smart TV from the company which has two models: 32-inch and 42-inch. Realme is the latest brand to enter the smart tv segment in the country and they are hoping to make an impact with their aggressive pricing strategy.

Realme Smart TV Details

The company laucnhed two models under the Realme Smart TV brand , the 32-inch HD+ model and 42-inch FHD display model. Apart from the display size, both the models have similar features in them. The display of the Smart TV is backed by  Chroma Boost Picture Engine for enhanced picture quality, 400 nits brightness, 178-degree viewing angle, and HDR 10.

The device is powered by 64-bit quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-470 MP3 GPU, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. You get 2 x 12W speakers and 2 x tweeter, making it a 24W quad-speaker setup and has support for Dolby Audio. The smart tv offers many modes such as Standard, Vivid, Game, Sports, Movie, User, Energy Saving and supports H.264, H.263, and MPEG1/2/4, among other video codecs.

The smart tv runs on  Android TV 9.0 software with in-built Chromecast, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Live channel. Connectivity options present in the television include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI (1 contain ARC), 2 x USB, SPDIF, DVB-T2, and Ethernet. As launch offer you get 6 months of Youtube premium free when you buy either of the model.

The price of the device is set Rs 12,999 for 32-inch model and Rs 21,999 for 42-inch FHD model. It goes on sale in India from 2nd June through Flipkart and Realme.com.
