From the tease image and videos, the device is shown to have quad camera setup at rear arranged in square pattern. The finger print sensor is present at the side of the phone and most probably the device will have a punch hole display at the front panel to house the selfie camera. With this, it is almost confirmed that the Poco M2 Pro will be the renamed version of Redmi Note 9 Pro global variant. In India, we got only the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max variant.

To further confirm this, a recent Geekbench page reveals the upcoming Poco M2 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 720G processor and up to 6GB RAM. Other specifications of the phone are 6.67″ FullHD+ LCD, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 5,020mAh battery with 33W charging.

The Quad camera setup could come with 64MP main sensor or 48MP main sensor, which we are not sure. The selfie camera will be 16MP lens. More details on the phone will be known on July 7 post launch. Even if Poco M2 Pro is going to be re-branded Redmi Note 9 Pro version, if the company can price aggressively like its previous phones, M2 Pro could be successful.
