Today, Flipkart has teased the launch of the Asus Zenfone 5Z smartphone in its website. It should be noted that Zenfone 5Z comes with top of the line specifications and at a competitive price. The Asus flagship phone which was announced during this year’s MWC 2018 event, is already on sale in Europe and is priced even less than Oneplus 6.
The highlight of the phone is the iPhoneX like design and almost the same type of build prompting critics to call it as Android powered iPhoneX. As per the Flipkart teaser, the Asus Zenfone 5Z will be launched on June 26 at 8:45PM (an odd time !!). Much like the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 which was priced aggressively to challenger Redmi Note 5 series, we can also expect the Zenfone 5Z to be priced to take on Oneplus 6 and Honor 10 to give these two poplar phones a strong challenge.

The Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with Face Unlock feature much like the iPhoneX and it also has fingerprint sensor at the back. Presence of dual speakers, Hi-Fi audio, and DTS Headphone X are some of additional features which will attract audiophiles. Connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C port, and 4G VoLTE will be present.
The smartphone comes in Midnight Blue and Meteor Silver colors. The price of the device is expected to be between Honor 10 and Oneplus 6 range like Rs 33,000 to give a tough competition to these existing winners.
