Nokia 6.1 Plus launched in India starting Rs 15,999

Nokia India has launched  its new Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India today. The company had previously teased pictures and videos indicating the new smartphone launch in its twitter and Facebook account.
At Techarea we previously reported on its launch in India when the Nokia support page went live. It should be noted the model Nokia X6 which is the global name is being renamed as Nokia 6.1 Plus for India and it replaces the existing Nokia 6.1 smartphone. The Nokia X6 was praised for its advanced design with Full screen display and notch design when it was officially revealed few months back.

· 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage
· 16MP+5MP dual-rear cameras and a 16MP front camera
· 3060mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support
· Android 8.1 Oreo

All default connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth 5 are present in the phone. The phone is the first phone from Nokia at lower price segment to come with Dual-Cam setup. Nokia 6.1 Plus will take on Mi A2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro ,priced aggressively at Rs 15,999. The device will be a Flipkart exclusive and pre-order starts from August 30.
