Motorola recently launched its flagship smartphone Motorola Edge+ in America. The company announced a high-end device after a long time with full blown specifications and modern Edge plus design with curved display. Now, the Motorola Edge+ has officially launched in India at a high price of Rs 74,999. It will go on sale via Flipkart on May 26. The device will be online exclusive to Flipkart alone. The highlight of this new Motorola smartphone is the presence of Edge Plus display which is curved at the edges and houses the punch-hole selfie camera. The display also has a higher 90Hz refresh rate panel like most of 2020 flagship devices have. It is powered by Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
The highlight of the device is the Rear camera setup which consist of main 108MP camera, 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera which doubles as a macro camera. In addition to these two, the Motorola Edge+ comes with an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The selfie camera is 25MP sensor along with an f/2.0 lens setup. The camera setup offers 6K video recording.
The phone has huge 5,000mAh battery along with 18W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. All default connectivity options are present including 3.5mm jack. The device comes in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey colors. It runs on Android 10 with almost stock version of UI.
The device is priced at Rs 74,999 which looks high when compared to the existing competition from Oneplus, Samsung or even iPhone. Even though the specifications, features and design could justify the price, the brand value of Motorola is not great here, at least for the flagship market.
