Xiaomi today took the wraps off its 2019 flagship smartphone, the Mi 9. Mi 9 boasts top of the specs and also comes in a premium design along with several features. Apart from the regular version, we also have the Mi 9 Transparent edition where the back case is designed in a way to mirror the phone internals giving it a cook techy appearance. The new MI 9 comes with In-display fingerprint sensor which is 25% faster, NFC with NXP’s new SN100T chip for faster transaction speeds, a dedicated AI button, Bluetooth 5.0 dual-frequency GPS for better positioning, USB-C port and finally also a Infrared port. The camera setup comes with various AI modes and setup where you can play along. The DXO mark of the phone is stated as 107 which is just two points lesser than Huawei Mate 20 Pro and best iPhone XS easily.
Finally, the special transparent edition also comes with same specs expect it has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and its back case has see-through body which is pretty gorgeous. Xiaomi Mi 9 is priced at ¥2999 ( Rs 29,000) for the 6GB+ 128GB version while the 8GB RAM version is priced at ¥3299 ( Rs 32,999). The Mi 9 Transparent Edition with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will sell for ¥3999 ( Rs 39,999). The phone is already available for pre-order and goes on sale from February 26 in China. We are not sure whether or when the phone will launch in India.
