Xiaomi’s 2019 flagship smartphone , the Mi 9 is scheduled to get launched on February 20. It is claimed to the most good looking phone from the company which is designed by the same person as the one who designed Mi 6. Mi 8 , the predecessor was a popular phone when it released and it came in many variants including the Mi 8 Pro which came with transparent back case revealing the inside of the phone including the processor. At the front, the new Mi 9 will sport a water drop notch and will have triple camera setup at the rear.

The live image shows the 6.4-inch AMOLED display and is reported to be protected by Gorilla glass 5. The phone will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Processor , 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. We can expect the phone to run the latest version of Android OS with MIUI 10. Mi 9 will have 3500mAh battery with 27W fast charging capability. The rear triple camera will consist of 48MP + 12MP + ToF Depth Sensor.

The image of the smartphone indicate that it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor since there is no presence of fingerprint sensor at the rear or side. Apart from power and volume rocker button at the sides of the phone, it also has a dedicated button for the AI assistant. It could be used to activate Xiaomi’s XiaoAI assistant.
In another news, the Mi 9 was showcased in an promotion image where it was held by a popular Chinese youth Roy Wang who is part of boy-band TFBoy. He is the brand ambassador for the new Mi 9 phone.
