HTC today unveiled its new mid-range Desire series for 2018 without much hype. HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ phones announced via its twitter handle comes with ‘Liquid Surface’ design language and an unmatched premium look towards it. HTC has been following this design for its flagship smartphones last year and now it has introduced it to mid-range devices. For the first time, HTC has brought the Dual-Camera setup to lower end devices i.e. HTC Desire 12+. Let’s check the specifications of the two models
HTC Desire 12 Specifications

- 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC
- 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage
- 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera
- 2,730mAh battery and running Android 7.1 Nougat

- 2,965mAh battery and running Android 8.0 Oreo
Both the smartphones has default connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G with VoLTE. The price of HTC Desire 12 and 12+ models have not announced yet. We’ll have to wait and see whether this time at least HTC prices its phones correctly to stay relevant in the competitive market.
