Honor India has been teasing the launch of Honor View 20 in India for the past two weeks.  We already  knew from the company that the phone will launch in India on January 29 and so it got officially launched in India today. The phone made the global  launch last week in an event in Paris. To recall, Honor View 20 is the renamed version of Honor V20 which was launched in China last month. Let’s check out the specification of the phone.

Honor View 20 will be the first phone to sports the new Sony IMX586 48-Megapixel Sensor camera in the country. Along with 3D ToF sensor we can expect some outstanding pictures taken by the phone. The phone powered by the new Kirin 980 Processor made at 7nm process will come with in-built GPU Turbo technology for accelerated performance. All default connectivity options including dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and USB-C are present.

The latest phone from Honor will compete against the likes of Oneplus 6T and is priced starting Rs 37,999  for 6GB/128GB Variant and Rs 45,999 for the 8GB/256GB Variant. The price is a bit high compared to Chinese market however  with the latest Kirin 980 SoC & 48MP Sony Camera we can understand its cost. With this,  it is  the costliest Honor phone to launch in India.

Apart from Honor View 20, the company also introduced few wearable devices like Honor Band 4,  Honor Magic Smartwatch in different variants. The starting price of these is at Rs 1,599 for the Honor Band 4 which will take on Mi Band.

Honor View 20 comes in Magic Night Black, Sapphire Blue and Phantom Blue color options. The red color variant is not coming to India. The device is already on pre-order and will go on sale  Amazon Exclusive from 12AM tomorrow. You can get a free Honor Sport Bluetooth earphones if you prebook and buy on January 30.
