This time, apart from the regular variant a new Honor 8X Max variant was also launched. The Max variant should be the competitor for the newly launched Xiaomi Mi Max3. A tease image from Honor has revealed that the phone display will have extremely thin bezels and comes with more than 90% screen-to-body-ratio. Let’s check out the specifications of the devices.

Both the devices come packed with connectivity features which includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 with Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and microUSB 2.0. Honor has equipped the 8X Max with Dolby surround sound to provide unmatched multimedia experience.
The Honor 8X will come in Black, Blue, Red, and Purple color options. The phone price details, for 4GB RAM + 64GB at CNY 1,399 (Rs.14,700 approx.), 6GB RAM + 64GB at CNY 1,599 yuan (Rs.16,700 approx.) and top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB at CNY 1,899 yuan (Rs.19,900 approx.). Honor 8X will go on sale from September 11 through online shopping websites.
The company has priced Honor 8X Max 64GB variant at CNY 1,499 yuan (Rs.15,700 approx.), while the 128GB variant will cost CNY 1,799 (Rs.18,900 approx.). It will be available in three colors – Blue, Red, and Black. Honor 8X Max will go on sale from tomorrow in China via various eCommerce portal.
