AMD after a long delay has now officially launched its news Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G processors. The highlight of the processor is the presence of integrated Radeon Vega Graphics processor. This means the performance will be great and will help to running entry-level games smoothly without external GPU. The official prices of Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G are Rs 7,290 ( + GST) , Rs 10,990 (+GST) respectively.
With this launch, AMD replaces it existing Ryzen 3 2100G and Ryzen 5 2400G CPU. The new processors provides significant performance and add-on values at a cheaper price when compared to Intel’s processors.
Ryzen 3 2200G Processor
Ryzen 3 2200G has four cores without multithreading option at a base speed of 3.5GHz and max speed of 3.7GHz.The inbuilt Vega graphics has eight Vega compute units running at 1100MHz and 4MB of L3 cache. The CPU has 65W TDP rating and officially support up to DDR4-2933 RAM.
With Ryzen 3 2400 processor, you should be able to easily built a low-cost PC and still pay entry level game without any issue. AMD claims 52fps in Battlefield One, 56fps in Overwatch (low), 45fps in Rocket League, 87fps in Skyrim, and 74fps in DOTA 2.
Ryzen 5 2400G Processor
Ryzen 5 2400G has four cores with multithreading enabled at a base speed of 3.6GHz and max speed of 3.9GHz.The inbuilt Vega graphics has eight Vega compute units running at 1250MHz and 4MB of L3 cache. The CPU has 65W TDP rating and officially support up to DDR4-2933 RAM.
AMD claims users can expect 52fps in Battlefield One, 49fps in Overwatch (medium), 49fps in Rocket League, 96fps in Skyrim, and 31fps in The Witcher 3 when using Ryzen 5 2400G CPU. To compare, as per AMD Ryzen 5 2400G performance will be equivalent to an Intel i5-8400 CPU coupled with Nvidia GeForce Gt1030 CPU but at much cheaper price.

Other Details
Both the new processors are codenames ‘Raven Ridge’ and uses 300-series motherboard. Also in future the processor should be compatible with 400- series motherboard as well. The CPU support AMD’s Radeon technology including the FreeSync. The Ryzen processors has a new cooler setup called the ‘The Wraith Prism’ to improve the individually addressability of RGB LEDs and a design that works better on smaller motherboards.
