Today, a new High-Resolution Audio Player the Fiio M7 was launched in India. This is supposedly the successor to the Fiio M3 which was launched couple of years back in India but at a lower budget. The M7 is upgraded in all terms and comes at a premium pricing of Rs 19,990. The Player is now available for sale in the company’s own website and comes in Black, Silver and Red color options.

The Fiio M7 Hi-Res Audio player comes with a small 3.2-inch touchscreen enclosed by an aluminum chassis and 2GB internal storage. The device is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7270 processor and runs on highly customized Android skin overlay. Physical buttons are present for playback controls including volume. The Fiio M7 comes has 1180mAh battery which gives upto 20hr playback time via headphone jack and 30hrs through Bluetooth headset.

The core of the player is embraced by ESS Sabre 9018 chip which combines a high-performance DAC and headphone amplifier into one small package. This chip has good signal-to-noise ratio of -121B and support for up to 384kHz/32 bit PCM tracks. Another highlight of the player is the support for both aptX-HD audio codec and Sony’s LDAC wireless audio codec.
The charging, syncing and connectivity is handled by the presence of USB-C port and 3.5mm jack respectively. Finally, the player can also play FM Radio but don’t have inbuilt Wi-Fi for music streaming services.
