Taiwanese PC manufacturer Acer is attempting to enter the market of air purifiers in India. Acer announced the launch of two air purifiers on Tuesday named Acerpure Cool C2 and the Acerpure Cool C2 and the Acerpure Pro P2. These devices come with some of the most popular specifications found in the industry and will be priced within the mid-range range.
They will compete against models from companies like Xiaomi, Philips, Honeywell, Dyson and more. However, Honeywell’s and Dyson’s models are considerably more expensive than the devices. It is the first time Acer has introduced air purifiers in the United States. Acer is famous for its affordable and low-cost laptops.

The Acerpure Cool C2 and Acerpure Pro 2 feature four-in-one HEPA filters, which is similar to the majority of such devices in the US. The company claims that they can eliminate 99percent of airborne bacteria, 99.7% of ultrafine dust PM 1.0 as well as allergies. Acer claims that their devices are able to eliminate 99percent of virus that causes coronavirus flu from air. The company also claimed that the device was approved by a third party research institute, but the company didn’t specify which one is.
Furthermore, the air purifiers are also equipped with LCD displays and smart sensors that show the air quality in real-time along with other information regarding the purifier. They operate on DC motors that seem to consume less energy and won‘t be burdening on electric bills. There is a quiet mode included, and a security lock makes sure that children aren’t playing in the setting.
Its Acerpure Cool C2 and Acerpure Pro P2 will retail at the price of Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 21,999 respectively, and will be available on the company’s online store as well as Amazon. The Acer Exclusive stores sell the devices for 21,999, respectively.
