The date of launch for Motorola Edge S30 is confirmed. The flagship phone from Motorola is scheduled to launch on December 9 alongside it’s predecessor, the Motorola Edge X30. The new flagship phone is also expected to come with it’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. In the last week, the Motorola Edge S30 was spotted with an US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) listing that indicated its battery capacity and charging specs. The upcoming Motorola smartphone was also observed in the AnTuTu benchmarking site and has received an excellent score.
A few of the key specifications that are included in The Motorola Edge S30 were provided by a prominent tipper earlier in the month. The handset is believed to come with a 6.78-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone is expected to be similar in appearance and specs to that of the G200 model. G200 which was released just recently.
In an blog post via Weibo, Chen Jin, General Manager of the Lenovo Mobile Business Group has announced it was announced that Motorola is set to announce it’s Motorola Edge S30 on the 9th of December. The smartphone will go on sale along with with the Motorola Edge X30 which is expected to launch in December as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in all markets around the world.
Chen Jin also mentioned in the blog post it is believed that the Motorola Edge S30 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC which is in line with a previous report underneath the under the hood. Chen Jin also shared a image of AnTuTu benchmarking results for the phone and it was able to score a respectable 858852 points. But, additional details of the phone weren’t included on the Weibo post. In an distinct posting to Weibo earlier in the month Motorola Edge X30 was confirmed to run on the recently released Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC.
